The UBC Sauder Business Club of Greater China Shanghai Branch is pleased to present a wine tasting featuring wines from Bordeaux, France, the most famous wine region in the world.

Wine and Bordeaux are inseparable. Bordeaux wines are among the best in the world and represent the pinnacle of wine making. Dr. Jacques-Olivier Pesme, a highly respected expert on wine, Director of the Wine Academy at the BEM Management School in Bordeaux is coming to Shanghai to deliver an exclusive virtual tour of Bordeaux wine. Dr. Pesme will guide you through the many secrets that have given Bordeaux Wine the cult status that it enjoys. 

Following the talk, Dr. Pesme will guide you through a tasting of a select group of Bodeaux wines.

• learn how to taste wine and what to look for in a great wine.
  
• enjoy an evening in the company of one of France’s great wine connoisseurs.
  
• leave knowing what to look for, what to avoid, understand the importance of terroir, the many aspects of wine making, the importance of weather, the distinctive differences from year to year.
